Guide To Building a Pc

Putting It Together

Alright! So you bought all the parts and you want to know how to actually put them all together? Well I'm here to help! If you haven't found all the parts yet, go back my older post for a little bit of help. Here, I'ma show you how to put it all to together. Good luck!

1. Take the mother board and install the CPU. To do this, move the metal rod on the mother board to snap the piece of plastic out, so you can install the CPU. Be careful not to touch the bottom of the CPU because this could damage the device.

2. After doing this, now apply thermal paste to the top of the CPU, and put the CPU cooler on top. Remember to screw it in!

3. Now, grab your ram and find the sockets in which they belong in. Be sure the sides are open and push them in the right way. The way varies depending on the motherboard. Push the ram sticks in and you're done.

4. Once you're done with this, you are done setting up the motherboard and should secure the motherboard into the case with screws and plug in the case connectors.

5. Now that you're done with that, its time to attach your power supply. Find the slot made for the power supply, and screw it in.

6. After that step, it's now time to install the graphics card. Pop out the PCI-E slots out of the case needed to put in the graphics card and pop it in. Remember to secure it and plug in all the needed accessories. From there you go to cable management.

7. Make all the wires and cable look pretty. From here you're pretty much done putting together your pc! Double check that everything is connected, put the case together, and boot it up! From here download windows and you're done! Congratulations!
